Message weight of the Z32 during longer periods of spirited driving/racing. However, you have to remember the time period the vehicle was released. At that point in time, it had a revolutionary brake system. 4-piston front caliper/ 2-piston rear calipers was unheard of except on exotics around that time. From a street driving stand point with the occasional burst of aggressive driving would be well within the performance capabilities of the stock brake system. Remember also, depending on which model type you had when the car first came out would offer a different rotor width, 26mm vs 30mm, and this additionally contributed to rotor warp-age as well.
For the braking system you either have enough meat (Metal material) to absorb the heat and dissipate quickly enough, or you have a brake cooling design (such as directed air venting) in place in addition to the rotor/caliper to supplement the cooling and help the brakes perform to the desired level. In the case of the Z32, it didn't have enough of both, so Nissan did subtle design and material changes to reach an acceptable performance level of the time period.
